The unsayable – intuition – follows me through my projects. In my degree project I examine the silent aspect of my practical skill.

I do arts and crafts work in the field of fashion and clothes. My garments are unique, and craft work is the crucial element. With knitting as a technique and tool I develop methods of designing changing garments that accommodate various functions.

A garment can be seen as a sculpture, something wearable or a garment concept. I want to interact with the wearer. The garments can define your body, build it up and expand it. It is up to you what you want to express. The body is at the center.

In knitting I find a freedom and a feeling of pleasure that I wish to convey. I want to visualize the world I am going into – the unsayable, concentration, is to be found in the execution of a craft.
